Experiment overview

An educational initiative on mainstream social media platforms that integrated knowledge-rich content between casual posts.

The project evolved from traditional posts and stories into a digital avatar-led presentation format, designed to increase engagement while delivering valuable knowledge.

Main objectives

The project focused on three key areas:

1. Participatory design - embraced community-driven development through a democratic approach to the Avatar’s creation.

Audience involvement through voting mechanisms and feedback loops fostered shared ownership and authentic engagement.

2. Research and content creation - the initiative analyzed emerging trends, market dynamics, sustainable innovations, social movements, and breakthrough technologies, transforming complex findings into accessible, social media-friendly narratives that resonated with diverse audiences.

3. Content evolution - Strategic collaboration with CGI and animation artists continuously refined the Avatar’s visual presence while adapting content delivery methods, ensuring the educational message remained compelling.

Achieved results

The initiative successfully created a bridge between entertainment and education on social media, creating active community participation in the avatar’s development.

Through consistent content delivery and visual evolution, the project demonstrated how complex information can be effectively communicated to create engagement.

Main reflection

This experiment has started in 2018, before AI’s widespread emergence, revealed crucial insights about digital platform dependencies.

The sudden classification of the profile as a political movement, resulting in its temporary removal, highlighted critical questions about data sovereignty and content ownership on centralized platforms.
