1:1 Interview sessions
Let your perspective shape the future of digital freedom!
I’m conducting brief 20-minute interviews to understand your experiences and concerns about operating system transitions. Your insights will directly inform the development of educational resources and support systems for the upcoming Linux migration campaign.
What to expect during our call
During this conversation, I’ll ask you several questions including:
☀︎ What do you know about alternative operating systems?
☀︎ What first comes to your mind when I tell you that tomorrow you will have to migrate all the date from your computer?
☀︎ How would you describe to your grandma and 6-year-old nephew that they have to change their operating system?
☀︎ Linux has been here for a while, as long as the internet has existed. What was stopping you from choosing it?
I’ll also ask a few additional questions that I’m keeping confidential to ensure authentic, unbiased responses.

Focus group sessions
I’m also hosting collaborative 60-90 minute focus group sessions to explore community perspectives on operating system transitions and digital sovereignty.
These group discussions will help identify collective challenges and co-create support systems for the upcoming Linux migration campaign.
What to expect during the session
We’ll work together to:
Identify support needs: explore what types of assistance, resources, and guidance would be most valuable during an operating system transition
Test prototype processes: Try out different approaches to community education, peer support, and technical guidance
Evaluate tool concepts: Review and provide feedback on educational materials, transition guides, and support resources prototypes
Co-create solutions: Collaborate on designing community-centered approaches that actually work for you and your community
Community-centered approach
These group sessions focus on collective experiences, shared challenges, and community-based solutions. Together, we’ll explore how neighborhoods, workplaces, and social groups can support each other through the transition to Linux.
