Project overview
Designing the Future was a strategic event series focused on exploring emerging trends and speculative futures across diverse domains including sexuality, music industry, death, cannabis, education, food, gender, humans-computers interactions.
Each event combined historical analysis, current trend mapping, and future scenario exploration, positioning my venture at the time, Radicalzz Studio as an early voice in future-oriented strategic consultancy and critical design discourse.
The series functioned as both a knowledge platform and a strategic tool for demonstrating the studio’s capability to translate complex futures thinking into accessible, engaging and business-relevant experiences.
Strategic objectives
The project was intentionally designed to support long-term positioning and business development through:
Expertise positioning: establishing my company as a thought leader in foresight, trend analysis and speculative design.
Community building: creating a curated network of forward-thinking professionals, potential clients and collaborators through shared intellectual and experiential environments.
Market differentiation: strengthening my studio’s visibility by addressing unconventional and complex topics through an accessible yet conceptually rigorous format.
As the creator and strategic lead, I was responsible for the full lifecycle of the project, including:
☀︎ Leading interdisciplinary research and trend analysis
☀︎ Developing conceptual frameworks and future narratives
☀︎ Designing event formats and workshop methodologies
☀︎ Creating scenario-based presentations
☀︎ Managing partnerships and expert collaborations
☀︎ Coordinating production and logistics
☀︎ Designing audience engagement strategies
☀︎ Overseeing communication and brand positioning
Achieved results
The series effectively strengthened the market position of Radicalzz Studio as a credible authority in future-oriented strategy and speculative thinking.
Its hybrid format combining knowledge dissemination with participatory experiences attracted clients seeking innovative approaches to complex systemic challenges and long-term planning.
The growing diversity of participants and partnership opportunities confirmed the project’s relevance within the strategic design ecosystem.
Main reflection
What began as a positioning initiative evolved into a sustainable business development platform.
The project demonstrated my company’s core strength: translating complexity into clarity and enabling audiences to engage with future-oriented thinking in a way that was both intellectually rigorous and practically applicable.
It confirmed that futures literacy, when strategically framed, becomes not only an educational tool but a powerful driver for cultural and business transformation.
